Inspired by the Venus With Nymph and Satyr (1600) found in the Wadsworth Atheneum's famous Atrium. This beautiful sculpture / fountain has watched over the Museum's comings and goings for almost a decade. This pin set was designed for an event at the Wadsworth at which I typed poems in the Atrium. Before doing the gig I felt the need to make an offering to Venus, as I would be sharing her space that evening. This is what I created.
