Crystals are Friends paper sticker sheet
These stickers are very special because the images used for them come from scans of silkscreened prints of crystals I made from my own drawings, each one printed onto tie-dyed paper towels which had been used to clean up a recent, unrelated project. Zoom in and you'll see the paper towel texture!
These prints - all 156 of them - were made for an edition of 15 artist's books titled the Human Matrix that I made for my inclusion in 12x12, an artist's book compilation project created by Trevor Powers and Esther White, back in 2014/2015 (?). I treasure the scans I have from that project because they are all I have from it. I may have a copy but its in storage, and anyways it only has 12 of the 156 prints I made in it. It was an epic project carried out in a shockingly short period of time, and it has a special place in my heart.
I have also used those scans to make 1" buttons and prints! Someday I hope to re-issue the Human Matrix (from scans) as a zine rather than an artist book, but it's not a front-burner project. But someday...
