GET READY MIXTAPE BOX AND CARDS

A mixtape of songs important to me at the time sits snugly on one side of the box, and laminated cards - one for each song on the mixtape - sit on the other side. Each card utilizes two font found in an antique lettering book gifted to me by my Uncle, and an important part of the project was not only finding two fonts that fit each song, but not using any font more than once.

This piece is intended to be installed in a quiet but public space. The viewer is meant to sit down and listen to the entire tape, while reordering the cards (and thus the playlist) to their liking. The viewer could then write down their order, or potentially rework a digital playlist which they could then take home.
