I am fascinated by the desert and how much life exists everywhere you turn there. The trick to the desert, though, is to never take it for granted, and to always look closely at what you see. Once you open your eyes to the details of your surroundings, a landscape that may have once looked bleak and barren is actually bursting with colors, patterns, textures, and life. The desert has many lessons to teach, but one of the most important (aside from water) is that there is always more than meets the eye - and that those who slow down enough to see the details will always be rewarded. The desert also reminds us, in this same way, to remember that life can sustain, even the most inhospitable conditions.
